Had a bad experience with one of the sales staff. I will be doing my shopping at Home Depot.
What a total joke! Spent $150 on 2-72" Allen and Roth shelving kits. Missed where it said on box (rod not included). No big deal! I figured hang shelves and go next day to get rods. Unfolding into a disaster Lowes doesn't sell a 1"x72" closet rod to go with the kit! They have no accessories to work with a $75 shelf closet kit the sell!! To make it better....the store manager suggests I use a piece of pipe from the plumbing department or use a curtain rod that will never hold the weight of clothes! Highly frustrated! Had a bad experience with Lowe's Home Center yesterday. My husband and I went there to buy a new front door. There was only one of what we wanted and it was banged up on the trim. My husband asked a worker for a measuring tape and the guy just said he didn't have one and went back to his computer without so much as an "I'm sorry ." We picked out another door and a Schlage key set. Took it to the key cutting desk and the only guy who could cut the set to match our key was out to lunch. Bought a light from there and the box was slightly opened..looked like it was possibly returned but I liked it and it was the last one. Got home, was clearly returned and put back out for sale without it being checked. No directions, missing a screw, all the plastic was tore open. Now I have the inconvenience of having to return it and find something else.
They treat their employees with utter disrespect. I would not recommend anyone for a position at this establishment.
