UPDATE: if I’m gonna complain I also have to recognize the positives. Lowe’s stepped, replaced the dryer next day. WELL DONE LOWE’s!! THANK YOU!! Worst experience. THIS LOWES TOTALLY STINKS! The customer service department took 45 minutes to answer the phone. We got through, asked for a manager and they hung up on us!!!! we had a dishwasher delivered last week, paid for delivery, installation and haul off...a truck delivered the dishwasher and said they don't do delivery! Called Lowes and they didn't even have us scheduled!!@@ Can't get through to anyone to get this resolved!!!! Supposed to have refrigerator delivered, installed with haul away tomorrow. I count on Lowe's for everything from garden plants to major appliances! Their staff has always been so helpful and nice. Just recently (May 2020) Cole was the staff member who delivered my online order at Curbside Pick Up-\-\and again, what a great employee! As I was parked waiting, (all masked and gloved up) I was so upset to see very few fellow customers wearing protective masks. Gladys, the cashier, in the garden center was extremely rude while checking out. If you don’t like your job QUIT! You're lucky to still be working right now!! Palm Coast Florida.
I went to the store, and Chris Chambery, assisted me and my friends. He was knowledgeable of every product my friend asked him about and spent at least 20 minutes with us, answering questions. His phone kept ringing and he told the person he was with customers, and would call them back. He made us feel like we were his only task for the day, and I would highly recommend him for assistance. The management in appliances is terrible. Also, I called the 800 number to tell my story and no one ever called back. Since my bad experience, I have since bought new windows from Home Depot and new carpet from Home Depot. There is no comparison to the level of customer service. Lowes lost more than $7K worth of business plus more that I am about to purchase. Home Depot is the place to go!
