Went to Lowe's today and showed them my Veterans card and I was informed they would not accept it for a veteran discount beginning in January.I have to make an on line account with them and they will assign me a Lowe's card number even though I DON"T want one and all this just to get a Veteran discount.NO THANKS I'll take my business elsewhere.Other stores give a Veteran discount by merely presenting my Veterans card.All this is just to get you to take their credit card.

Ok so after a month of waiting I have decided to never go back to Lowes🤬! The have the worst customer service ever. It has nothing to do with the installers because my guy has been great. However the store has yet to send the paperwork to my guy to let them know that my door was at the store on Thursday. I was told that they would call to set up to have it installed but because my guy did not have my paper work as of 4:50 pm today I had to call him. I live in Jacksonville Illinois...and I spoke with the manager Jason today (07/15/2017) Some lady charged 439.86 on my debit card in this store yesterday...and that lady wasn't me... thankfully Jason was very helpful and sent me the receipt of the woman who purchased the items ...so very thankful he was so helpful to get this mess straightened out.
I had a Kobalt Lockback utility knife and the lock back mechanism stopped working so it would occasionally close on my hand. Thanks to the lifetime, no hassle guarantee, I returned it to the store and they immediately replaced it no questions asked. The customer service staff were very attentive and helpful.
It's no wonder their stock continues to drop and they are laying people off. Their customer service is a joke at best. Associates will walk right by and not even acknowledge you. When you go to the customer service desk it's the samething. They just talk amongst themselves and act like you are an inconvenience to them. It's every Lowe's not just one. At least they are consistent.
Special ordered 5 cabinets. Recieved call saying they were in. Waited an hour in store before I found out they only had one.
