Good Store, but employees leave something to be desired I love to look in this store and dream about how I can fix up my house. But I have found when asking for help that many times, they had no idea what I was talking about.
Construction Co Owner This store has good customer service. They are always helpful on the phone and in person. Better service than Menards, and better products than Home Depot.
Jim I am very disappointed with Lowes service in Columbia. I special ordered 10 boards that I had to wait on for weeks. When it came in I went to have the boards cut. At the cut-off saw the saw broke with the customer before me. It took 9 days of beauracratic work for the saw to be repaired. (Why not have a spare on hand?) When I went in to have the boards cut, I waited 30 minutes with repeated requests from me for someone to help. The only help I got for 30 minutes were announcements. Pergo laminate flooring Lowe's had Pergo flooring that I bought and had installed. The laminate flooring was defective and was replaced without questions from Pergo. Dealing with Lowe's install sales person was the most frustrating experience I have ever had in my life. The main guy was unable to complete simple tasks and was woefully inadequate when it came to problem solving. He did not communicate well, and basicaly told the customer anything he wanted, true or not. The sales manager was contacted and didn't correct/train... read more
Lowes Home Improvement Nice, clean store. We have bought some of our home improvement supplies here. We shopped around and they where they cheapest on almost everything. We did have a problem with the kitchen cabinets be bouhgt here. They where falling apart has my husband was trying to mount them on the wall. When he called they had him return them all. We loaded everything up and took them back. Guys came out to help him unload them at the store, and helped load the new ones. They ended up giving us a better brand that was... read more
