Seattle markets hideaway three floors of water view seating with fresh seafood daily. Lowell's Restaurant & Bar has been serving the public for close to 100 years. In the early 1900s Lowell's was a combination coffee roaster, peanut roaster and cafeteria that served the citizens of the Seattle when they visited the "Public Market" to purchase fresh farm produce, seafood and dairy goods. I can recommend with clear conscience Lowell's! They have great breakfast dishes ideas and a good view of Great Wheel and Elliot Bay in Seattle!
Terrible customer service. Didn’t get what I ordered, was told I never ordered it but I could stand in line and reorder. All for a cup of clam chowder. 🤬

My trip to Seattle was filled with as much food as I could. Lowell’s was by far my favorite. Their clam chowder by far exceeded my expectations. Best I’ve ever had. I read reviews of other chowder houses in town and tried several.....no comparison to Lowell’s.
Great view. Amazing food. Smoked salmon scramble and chilli prawn omelette was delicious.
I like Lowell and it is a tradition to have breakfast here at least once per Seattle trip. Today for the very first time in more than 30 visits over the last 10 years, the staff refused to sit me because my other colleague was running 10 minutes late. Half of the second floor is empty and it's 7am. I said I am more than happy to sit on the market side and leave the Puget Sound side free for other customers. Nothing worked.
