I called the clinic on Saturday and told them my dog was very sick and they told me to bring her in. When I got there Doc Amy examined her my dog was weak,lethargic , drooling, and was having a hard time walking. Dr Amy informed me that my dog had ingested marijuana when I told her that I didn’t have marijuana in my house nor did I do drugs she told me that now that it was legal I could admit it. I have been coming here for years and until now, I am very upset on how the owner treats my dogs. When I took my dogs, she walked in the room and didn’t even examine them and just gave them their shots and walked out. She was very rude when I requested her to come back to the room and have her examine my dogs to make sure everything was right with them. They are amazing. We have taken all our fur babies there for the past 20 years. Outstanding veterinary skills. I appreciate straight forward answers and they always give me choices. Dr. Amy is the best. She has taken care of our pets from babies to elder care and the passing of our loving pets. The staff is awesome! We will never go anywhere else. We are very grateful. I just want to thank the amazing staff at Lowell Veterinary Center for taking my baby today and putting up with my blubbering phone calls. I know Toad isn’t out of the woods yet but I’m so thankful for how forthright Dr. Amy been with her answers. I just really appreciate the honesty and will continue to hope for the best. These ladies have gone above and beyond to help me care for my dogs over the years. Everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful.
I took our cat Whiskers to see Dr. Amy on Thursday and returned home with him to see if he could make it through the night with the help of a steroid shot as it appeared he was in heart failure due to most likely heart worms. As the evening progressed he was worsening so I took him back to the clinic to have him put to sleep. Thanks to Dr. Amy for being available not only once Thursday but twice when she offered to stay late so we could bring Whiskers in. Her experience and sound mind we’re exactly what we needed.
