I had a very disappointing experience at Women's Specialty Care. The physician I saw was dismissive and appeared frustrated when I asked questions about my health and treatment. Rather than taking the time to explain things clearly, she responded in a way that felt condescending and made me uncomfortable asking for clarification. As a mom with 5 previous healthy deliveries. I needed a new OB this go around, and this office was quick to tell me they would induce me at 39 weeks (at my very first appt). When asked if they would open to monitoring the baby and if everything looked healthy we could let me go farther. They said they would let me go no further than 40 weeks. My daughter had her second what was supposed to be routine yearly exam. That is what the appointment was made for. When we got in the office I immediately gave her new insurance card. The girl bounced back a price of $250ish. Said it would be better to be "self-pay" and pay $196. So I did. We expect people to be doing their job correctly. That is where ai went wrong. Definitely not a good experience on first visit! Very disappointed. Provider rushed the entire time. Did not take any time to talk about care. Also staff member just renters room without announcing themselves.
