This is my and my wife’s fifth pregnancy. I’ve never experienced an OB/GYN that is so rude in ostracizing. They make the father and any other children feel extremely unwelcome to participate in some the most exciting parts about a pregnancy: ultrasound, hearing the first heart beat. The vibe in the office can be expressed simply as: “who are you and why are you here…“ You would think at a facility that performs all types of prenatal care that they would be excited about families and children participating in the experience.

My experience at Lowcountry OBGYN was unacceptable and, in my opinion, negligent. I went there for months with clear symptoms and worsening pain, only to be repeatedly told everything was “normal.” They never once mentioned endometriosis as a possibility, I had to discover that on my own through research because I was desperate for answers. Even when I begged for help, I was met with eye-rolling and dismissive attitudes. I was a little nervous for my appointment with all of the negative reviews on here but I had a phenomenal experience. It was easy to make an appointment over the phone, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the NP I saw was great. I was in and out of the office in probably 20 minutes. Highly recommend!
