I went for front brakes and Rotors. After he inspected the back brakes I had a more serious problem. He sent me a video of what the back brakes and rotors look like, not only it was beyond it's limit but it was leaking brake fluid. ( Which I didn't know) There were parts falling out.😲 I'm glad I went to him when I did I ended up spending more money but worth it! I had no clue the danger I was in. I have lived in Port Charlotte for 26 years and have used many local shops and never have found one that I felt confident in. I was referred to Low Overhead Auto by a friend who said he is a master mechanic. The owner John is very knowledgeable and professional. He always answers the phone or gets back to me the same day which is not common in SWFL. I first brought him my truck that overheated which he diagnosed for me. The owner John is well adept in his field. Extremely personable, and knowledgeable. Don't hesitate to take any vehicle you own to him. He does quality work at a fair price. One of the best if not the best shop around town. 10/10

I have taken my car to Low Overhead Auto twice now. Once for the air conditioner and the second time for a new alternator. John is very honest and his pricing is very fair. You couldn’t ask for a better mechanic. I highly recommend him.
