July 2 2026 about 7:25 pm walked in was seated. asked what we liked to drink. water with lemon. over herd the dummy rude waitress say to other patrons I can’t believe people are walking in 30 mins before we close. If you don’t want to serve people after 7:30 lock the door or say so don’t seat people the let them sit for 20 mins without even bring the water. What a fantastic meal we had at the Low Gap Cafe. Calamari was light, crispy, with lovely slightly spicy marinara. Blackened snapper with crawfish etouffee fantastic. Wonderful shrimp scampi with butter/lemon/white wine sauce on pasta. Sophie, our server, was attentive, efficient and very friendly. We'll definitely look forward to returning.
What a great little place! We were staying in a cabin nearby and this cafe was recommended. So happy we went! The food was fantastic and our waitress (who I believe was the owner) was so kind and hard working. We will definitely return anytime we are in the area!
This place was recommended to us. We really enjoyed our meals. We had Cajun pasta and red snapper. Friendly service. And the pies especially that blueberry pie was delicious. Give it a try
