I can't say enough about Loving Pets. Our healthy 4 y/o passed away suddenly and I was devastated. They were so compassionate and met us at the office after hours. I felt very comfortable letting them take care of my baby, Cesar. They're very clean, professional, and reasonably priced.
Chapin died in my arms last night. 7:30am this morning i googled small animal cemetery Richmond. VA and Loving Pets was the first on the list. I called at 7:30 on my way to school and John answered the phone... at SEVEN-THIRTY. I made an appointment before class started. John was kind and sincere and did not try to "sell me" on any keepsakes, urns, etc. He was empathetic and respectful, and even teared up a bit himself during the paperwork process. Thank you for making a sad and difficult time a bit less stressful. From the first phone call after losing our sweet Daisy at home to picking up her ashes a few days later, the staff was courteous, sympathetic and able to explain the process in a way that was easy to understand. They made everything as easy as possible. A wooden box with her name on it was included in the price of cremation and we chose to have her paw print made as well. The staff at Loving Pets was absolutely fantastic with handling my passed-on kitty. They really went above and beyond in service, and treated me and my husband as well as my cat's remains with respect and understanding. The ashes box is beautiful, engraved with her name, and came back to us carefully packaged along with a metal name tag with our name on it and a special booklet with her name and a clip of her fur in it. This is just an overall fantastic crematory for your beloved pet.
