Lovett Dental (4901 South Padre Island Dr., Corpus Christi, TX) They were to pull one tooth... They cut my lip with the drill and cut a different tooth. The "dentist" broke the tooth next to the one they were pulling and just pulled it too. He asked if he could keep the gold fillings in my teeth. Then they overcharged my insurance. My insurance told me and I have been trying to get that overcharge back for 2 months now. They send your call to an answering machine and try to blow you off. I am writing this as I wait for the receptionist who asked me to hold returns to my call (25 minutes) I just want to scheduel an appointment for a family member, that's all. Someone did not train the receptionist very well because you NEVER, EVER leave someone on hold for over a minute without going back and speaking to them. This is very rude and uncaring on their part. It was 27 minutes and 31 seconds before I spoke to her again.

This is a bait and switch dental office. Go in for a cleaning and they do an exam and X-rays and you have to reschedule for you cleaning... THEN when you go in for your cleaning they say it's a perio-scaling and want to charge you a huge amount for that. I have never needed a scaling before and don't need one now. My husband was the same thing. AVOID at all costs!

Terrible place would not do a cleaning until I payed an extra 87$ for gum treatment. This is after I waited over an hour with an appointment right when they opened. Completely used car lot of dentist office total trash. I will go somewhere else.

I had a terrible time last year but I went back because of insurance hoping things went well or better this year...little did I know they would ditch my appointment for a bridge which I have already paid thru my care credit card... I'm wondering what's going to happen next because they didn't call me to reschedule that same day...I went there to find everybody had left...funny I've seen weird things around there but today takes the cake...by the way they put a temporary I almost swallowed several times cuz it fell off everyt... read more
