Im so happy I stopped by their table at Eastern Market. I was skeptical and unfamiliar with custard pies but the company really made it an enjoyable experience. The pie is perfectly sweet, buttery, and just plain yummy! I believe I tried the chess pie but cant remember for sure...I just know the taste is out of this world. Looking forward to trying more!
I've been a pastry chef for 10 years now and I tried their Chess Pie at a farmers market in wyandotte today. It was the best chess pie I've had and one of the best pies in general I've ever tasted. The owner is extremely kind and I will definitely be back for more!
