I’ve been a repeat customer at Lovely Nails and Spa for both manicures and pedicures, including their enhanced nail services, so I was really disappointed by my most recent visit. I went in for a shellac pedicure. The service felt rushed and extremely basic—there were no bubbles in the tub, very little time spent prepping my feet, and overall minimal attention to detail. I did my nails in the store, and then I went back to remove my shellac, they charged 15+HST to remove shellac, but they did a terrible job! My nails are very much damaged and they used the electrical thing to remove my nails, I guess to save them some time. But now my nails look terrible and very uneven, and very thin! I will never go back.
Good manicure, but the nail artist’s communication was poor. A casual question turned into an uncomfortable exchange, which made it hard to relax. If you’re looking for a stress-free spa experience, this may not be the best place.
Customer service sucks . Despite having a phone appointment, I was made to wait over 25 minutes while others were taken ahead of me.
