My grandma loves it here (and I like it too) Lovells of Lake Forest is owned by the astronaut Jim Lovell and his family, and it's a nice, big restaurant with kind of a country club feel, but without the stuck-up attitude. The main floor is laid out more or less like a house, with many open-ended rooms, so you don't feel like you're in a huge, overwhelming space. Fine Dining - Great Staff I went to to Lovell's on Valentine's day after a long flight to IL I had no idea it was a 5 star restaurant and proper attire was recommended. The maitre's warmly welcomed us even though we looked weary from our trip. The food was great and the service was the best.
Exquisite Definitely a 5 star restaurant. It is pricey, but a fabulous dining experience. Classy and Gorgeous building and dining room. If you want to impress someone, take them to Lovells. There is also some great Apollo 13 memorabilia to view.
