My experience this week was very positive for a minor issue. The Urgent Care facility is clean, airy and comfortable. The ‘Theater’ inside looks actually like an ER with centered nurse station. My care givers were empathetic, professional, and kind.
Went to urgent care for a productive cough with wheezing and lower right side chest pain. Was seen by H Stafford who was the least hand s on medical person I have ever encountered. With a 100 degree fever she denied I had one and refused antibiotics even though my congestion was severe. Said come back if your symptoms get worse. They were bad enough to go in why do I have to go back and pay another copay for treatment i should have gotten then. This urgent care is failing! If you call the number listed they say walk in’s are welcome! You get there and the front desk lady said they ain’t seeing anyone until later! There was NO one there in the waiting area, what is the point of running an urgent care when they turn you away! I went to pres had a way better experience. Sad cause I liked Lovelace. Very displeased with the customer service and professionalism they lack at the front desk!!
I had a very disappointing experience at this urgent care with nurse practitioner Kelly Conklin. I came in for endometriosis related vaginal pain, hoping for some help and guidance. Unfortunately, she seemed disinterested in addressing my concerns. She had to consult an OB-GYN in the building, but the recommendation was something I had already tried and mentioned to her.
