We loved the convenient location and caring doctors of this place, however everything has changed since they have been taken over by Children's Health. This summer I took my two kids to get the sport physical forms signed by our PCP before the school sports season begins. I was surprised to receive a bill over $200 in October from Children's Health just for the PCP to sign the sports physical forms, even though our insurance has $0 copay for pediatrician visit. We have 3 daughters and have been patients at this clinic since 2013 and had always been so happy, but since they have been taken over by Children's Medical everything has changed. Our middle daughter has special needs and was seen by Dr Lanman, once Dr Lanman left they told us they would no longer see her. We had no warning or idea this was coming. Lovejoy Pediatrics used to provide great care. With the change to Children's Health, this is no longer the case.
Don't even bother taking your child here for ADHD medication. If you happen to find a pharmacy that has it, after calling around for an hour, you will not be able to get Lovejoy Pediatrics to send in the prescription in a timely fashion, and the stock will run out. Very frustrated with this practice. They have no appreciation of the backorder issues that parents are facing for their children's medication.
