Been here twice and this place has disappointed each time. Tried different items on menu and everything fell flat. No truffle flavor in the truffle pasta. Ordered bone marrow with barely any in it. Pizza and lasagna were bland. Meatballs were ok. This place is lucky Manhattan beach lacks in restaurant options otherwise it would never make it in other areas of LA
My friend and I came to Love & Salt to enjoy a pre-dinner cocktail. The staff was so friendly and helpful. It was quite packed but it didn’t feel overwhelming - everyone seemed to be having a good time. I ordered the Oaxacan Humidor and my friend ordered the Manhattan Sour but with scotch instead of bourbon. Both drinks were absolutely delicious! If the food is anything like the drinks, then it would be great.
