I bought a $299 ring diamond that I thought was white gold but they omitted to say while they showed me that it wasn’t even silver. It was silver mixed with something else to preserve it. They charged my credit card and gave me a certificate but it didn’t even say what metal the ring was. I went with my sister to another store because she wanted to ask about her purchase and on the way I showed them my ring. While on a NCL cruise to Alaska Inside Passage, I purchased a yellow gold diamond ring costing over $1,200 US dollars but within less than a month, one of the diamonds from the cluster fell out and was lost. A large price to pay for a souvenier. I can't explain my disappointment, for I still have rings I have had for over 45 years... for I take care of my rings and never wear them except when going out someplace, never around the house or cleaning.
