Love Lovan Care My dog has been going to Lovan Care for more than four years now, and she loves it. She gets excited when she hears we're going to go see Wendy, the office manager. Dr B and the techs and nurses are wonderful and I know my dog is in good hands while she's there. If you haven't been there before, ask for a tour. The luxury boarding suites are large and decorated with cute themes, but they also have less expensive kennels as well, and doggy daycare for large and small dogs (in separate rooms). They don't mind i... read more

Great Veterinary Care and Boarding Facility I have been using this veterinary practice for over 2 years and absolutely love the staff and doctor!! I used to go to a larger practice in town, that had three doctors and a large boarding facility but was just not as happy there as I am here. I love that when I call, Wendy at the front desk knows my voice without me even telling her who I am! I also love how the staff remembers me and my pet when I walk in. It shows me how much they enjoy their job and truely care for the animals... read more

We love Lovan Care I personally have never encountered any issues at this clinic. I have only experienced the up most quality and care every time I have been in the clinic as well as up stairs in the daycare facility. Almost a year ago Dr. Bumgardner found mammary cancer in my 15 year old dog that another doctor dismissed and told me that it was probably just an "old age mass" as well as a heart murmur that the same doctor never found after seeing her for 2 years. When I unexpectedly had to put her down (as she still seemed ... read more

Human MD I just stumbled upon these reviews when I looked up the phone number online to call and make an appointment for my dog. I am honestly SHOCKED and DISTURBED that people have had such bad experiences at Lovan Care. I have been bringing my 3 dogs and cat here since The previous owner dies and the current Dr purchased the clinic. My pets have had amazing care and one even had an emergency surgery and was there for a week after. I was called every day and sometimes twice with updates on my dog and the bill was not overly... read more

Unprofessional, and pretty ridiculous This place is beyond ridiculous - For both boarding AND hospital. They put on acts in front of you, but if you walk in and they don't see you you will find them being harsh with your pets. They seem to favor pets as well, some more than others. The Doctor couldn't even remember pre-existing conditions on my three cats, I had to tell her five times (each reoccurring visit). I even went in twice for the same reason, yet went out with different meds, which didn't clear her up the second tim... read more

A Bit Over Priced I to sometime feel that are over priced. I had a dog pass away in their care and I believe test that could have saved the dogs lift was missed or overlooked. I'm no doctor but every time I took my dogs in for shots (every 6 months) it was $300.00 or more. I finally this last time got them to give me 1 year of heart worm medication. I will not return. I have moved on.

Professional and clean with a friendly staff I have a cat that I adopted from the animal shelter and they had him fixed at Lovan Care because it is the closest clinic to where I live. I have been pleased with most of my experiences there, although I think they may be a little pricey (though I haven't compared much). The staff there is always friendly, professional and thorough and I've never had trouble getting an appointment when I needed it. They are open a little later than some clinics, which is also plus, and everything... read more

Anonymous Every review that you have read saying what a joke this place is is true. I would not take my animal here if it was free.

Unethical Service Lovan Animal Care refused to write a prescription for medicine for my pet. Additionally they told me they only had sentinel for heartworm prevention, which is a more expensive brand. Later, after I complained about them not approving my pet for heartworm medicine from another cheaper pharmacy, they said they did sell other heartworm alternatives that are cheaper than sentinel. They will refuse to write a prescription, but they will tell you that you can purchase your heartworm medicine online, but BEWARE be... read more
