I had a massive tree that was splitting and the split was growing with each storm. BWL said they'd remove it for years but never followed through. The split was getting large enough that I was worried it would come down on a number of power lines and cause damage. On November 18th, 2025, I reached out to several tree companies in regards to a helpless kitty stuck very high in the top of a tree. Out of all of the companies that I reached out to, there were only two that responded! One was unable to help until morning, and the other was Lou’s Cutting Edge. 5x the price of others. Does not buy walnut. I would not be surprised if theyre not paying fair price for lumber to every customer. Wanted 6k to cut down trees when someone else quoted 1500. Wouldnt pay anything for vaneer grade walnut
