They do an awesome job and Brooke is so easy to work with. The staff is professional and very good at what they do.
On November 18th, 2025, I reached out to several tree companies in regards to a helpless kitty stuck very high in the top of a tree. Out of all of the companies that I reached out to, there were only two that responded! One was unable to help until morning, and the other was Lou’s Cutting Edge. They sent someone out with a bucket truck within a short time. 5x the price of others. Does not buy walnut. I would not be surprised if theyre not paying fair price for lumber to every customer. Wanted 6k to cut down trees when someone else quoted 1500. Wouldnt pay anything for vaneer grade walnut
Lou's guys are great to work with. I received a phone call back within a day after calling, (The only business that called me back). They got me in within a week of coming out to do an estimate. They kept in touch with me so I would know when to expect them. I knew my requests were unusual, but they honored them and did the job very well. They cleaned up everything. I did not get a bunch of quotes, but I found that they were a reasonable price. I will use them again next spring for some of my other trees.
