My elderly mother, who is 99 years old fell and severely sprained her right ankle as well as tore her muscle. We were lucky to obtain Occupational therapy from Haleigh T, and therapy from Dasha M. and Debbie M. They were all exceptional. They all consistently demonstrated professionalism, versatility and commitment in all their endeavors with her. They assisted her with improvements in the home to make her life easier and safer. Most of the staff has been great working my sister and caring of her wound, until a few days ago. The Nurse/CNA which ever she was supposed to wet dry pack my sister wound. Instead, she was rough and put dry packing in it. When I complained, she called me wanting to argue saying she wet the gauze. I was standing right there. Plus, I had to undress it and found the dry gauze 45 minutes after she left. Tonight I had to take my sister to the ER because it is now getting infected again and causing her more pain.
My husband spent five months between the hospital and rehab. His legs were really sore. Our wound Dr. suggested white rose care. It is the best! they are extremely caring. Our main nurse is Jenn, she is the best. She comes several times a week and is always cheerful ,the type person you would like to hang out with. Shortly after praying for courage, the answer came as Mrs Tracy graced my threshold, aglow w/an inimitable "art of healing". Her beautiful eyes focused on me as her "patient", not just another house call. She briefly educated me on SIMPLE pain/stress mgt techniques. DO NOT work for this agency. Toxic office / work environment. It was like working with "mean girls" Forced to participate in office "events" that we had no interest in that cost us money. Director and managers arive late everyday - then sit behind closed door meetings and talk trash about staff. Cindy, Jamie and Hayden will lie straight to your face and not even pay what you are owed when you leave. Run ! Dont walk away from anything to do with Mederi / Optum Longwood Fl. office.
It's hard to see a loved one on hospice, and as first time at-home caregiver to my mother in law, I did not know what to expect at all. Compassion Care has far exceeded anything and everything I could have imagined. Every single CNA (Anne is incredible!), RN (Mandy has my whole heart & Halston is so smart), late night on-call nurses, wound nurses, case managers, the chaplain, even the answering service people have been the most supportive, compassionate people I have ever met in my life. I had a pleasant experience when I had to go for an employment drug screening. Skylar was very professional, and Brad Holley made my day with his humorous, super friendly personality. Overall had a great experience!
The people at Adoration Hospice Sweetwater are a wonderful, caring group of professionals. Leah was the case manager for my wife and Cheyene and Lexi were the aids. These three people not only gave excellent care to my wife, but their constant concern and care for me made the whole process much easier for me to handle emotionally. I would highly recommend this team of professionals to care for your loved one.
I just want to say that me and my grandmother are so blessed to have such a amazing smart caring and beautiful nurse like Kirby...she is the best and thats why we have always stayed with this company was because of her !! Shes been such a blessing. Adoration you are truly blessed to have Kirby working for you...shes definitely a jewel.
