Went in for a heart procedure..Heart Wizard told me he nicked the nerve that controls lung diaphram.. Paralyzed right side..I can accept that but the lady lung doc told me my inability to breathe was from me smoking 25 years ago..Very poor bedside manner..Told her my breathing was fine when I came in..Had to fight with her to get O2 for home use..Been a year and breathing finally getting almost normal..Didn't go back to her for followup..

Over the past six years we have spent many hours in several different hospitals for 7 back surgeries for my husband, and want to let you know that Louisiana Heart Hospital and the staff were the best. Everyone from the physicians, admitting staff to the nursing staff, the whole team, treated us with compassion and lots of patience. We always felt we were the most important person in the room. Lung dr basically told my family my sister was obese thats why she couldnt breathe and wanted us to turn off the ventilator. she has COPD. She was not brain dead so we refused and wanted to give her a chance. That lady should not be a doctor she has no compassion and she is cold hearted horrible person.
