Doctor John Flatt should not be on staff! He misdiagnosed my daughter this month with "anxiety" and did not recommend EEG. Could not be seen again to let him know the anxiety meds werent working. After numerous emails pleading for an apt and decribing the details of the episodes, he still could not help, we went to Childrens Hospital in New Orleans. The qualified staff recognized my child was having seizures opposed to anxiety attacks. They were wise enough to admit her to run tests. She has epilepsy and the MRI showed a bra... read more

We have been seeing Dr Flatt for years. He is great with my child and can really get down to her level to engage her. He has always been excellent about explaining things and giving me a detailed picture. Highly recommend him.
We drove almost 3 hours to see Dr Flatt. He listened to us fully then explained everything about my sons situation and the treatment plan. Highly recommend Dr Flatt! My only regret is that we didn’t get to him sooner!
We drive 3 hours to see Dr. Flatt and he makes it worth every second of our trip! Our daughter is so comfortable with him and he explains to her in child-like terms what his plans are for medicine, tests, or whatever the case may be. I might also add, we are self pay and still drive to see him �
So thankful we found out about Dr. Flatt. He is very detailed when giving you information. He also breaks it to where you can understand whats going on with your child. Him and his staff are amazing!!!!
We drive over 2 hours to see him and I don't think I'll ever see anyone else even if they are closer. Traffic put us coming in late to our last appointment and he still found time to sit and see my son. After waiting over a month for this appointment I was completely heart broken when I realized there was a chance we wouldn't be seen. It meant so much to my husband and I that he saw us that day. I never expected to have to see a neurologist with my child but I am so glad we found Dr. Flatt. His wait time is minimal but he spends an immense amount of time with the patient. He is very friendly and my son really likes him. Thankful to have doctors like him to take care of something so important.
