Delicious – Lousie's soooo good. I walk to melrose one every lunch. They got the best pizza next to damiana's on fairfax

Not too shabby! – This was a nice Italian restaurant, standard fare. I wasn't too creative when ordering, however. Food was a little pricy, but the atmosphere was nice and classy, and our service was good. If you're looking for a standard Italian restaurant, this isn't a bad choice at all.

Light and lively McTrattoria satisfies the masses with homemade pizzas and pastas. – In Short This SoCal mini-chain uses blond-wood tables, cheery primary-colored details and piped-in hits from Sinatra to Armstrong to bring new meaning to the phrase "happy meal." Families and low-key diners are endlessly plied with herb-encrusted focaccia and olive oil. Wood-fired pizzas are topped with California-style ingredients (bean sprouts, Asiago cheese). Other Americanized Italian fare includes lunchtime favorites like finely chopped... read more

Great salads and bread, SM location very small – Louise's is a great restaurant for a low-key night out when you just want to get some good food and not spend a lot of money. I've been to both the Santa Monica and the Melrose locations and, obviously, the food is great at both. The service is better and more attentive at the Santa Monica location (on Montana Ave. which is a perfect shopping street for a post meal stroll!) but the venue itself is rather small. The salads are all great, as are the pasta dishes I've had. I woul... read more

One of my favourite Italian restaurants in West LA !! – Just about everything is excellent about Louise's. Food is great, just the bread alone is worth the visit. Nice and fresh Salad's and the portions are quite generous. I had been to 3 other Italian restaurants also on Pico within a stone's throw distance and to me Louise's easily wins hands down. Price is reasonable and the staff are very attentive.

Lovely Louises! – I've been to a few of the Louise's restaurants, and this one is by far my favorite. Close to movie theaters, if you want to eat dinner and catch a movie. Each time we've been there, the food has been delicious, the service most-friendly, and all-around worth the price. We always end up taking some delicious pasta home! And the Great Bread!

Forget the Mall! – Shopping at Westside Pavillion is great, the food is not. Do yourself a favor and head accross the street to Louise's. A staple for me on this side of town. Also great for delivery! Say what you will about the others Louise's is still the one that started it all!

SENSATIONAL SEAFOOD – Even though known for it's Italian cuisine, this Louise's outdoes itself when it comes to seafood. The shrimp & scallop appetizer is outstanding and the crusted shrimp caesar absolutely cannot be beat. Even the shrimp pizza is fantastic! Louise's has something for everyone.
