great restaurant to come to any day of the week. food, atmosphere and service is amazingly delightful! i recommened this to everyone and anyone who wants to try it out! they have great deserts and wines aswell. 5 stars!!!
My new fav restaurant. Great italian food, a new fav waiter named Peter who just makes the dinner so much better with his charm and recommendations, great wine specials too !! I love the papadelle with italian sausage pasta..and they make a great ceasar salad too !! Friendly staff, awesome busboys !!
we visited on Valentines Day evening, such a good energy from the moment we walked in, it was very much like the hussel bussle of a true Italian Trattoria, complete with children. Our waiter was wonderful, lots of good advice on food and wine and always 2 steps ahead cleaning table, filling drinks, pouring our wine etc.. remember when waiters had personality ! this guy is the best..with a little Downton Abbey charm thrown in.. Charming place – I love this little place. It's a charming relaxing restaurant, and the price is relatively cheap. The food is excellent and so are the staff. And it's clean. Even the rest room!
this place is just ok. – Santa Monica For some reason I want to rate this 3 3/4 stars... almost 4 stars :) First let's say that Montana Ave is a nice section of Santa Monica - there are a few choices to grab a bite to eat. Ask for Peter – This Louise's has an amazing waiter by the name of Peter. We come here for the excellent food and atmosphere but the service really makes our dining experience complete. Peter's recommendations are always spot on! He is one of the reasons why we have been such loyal customers throughout the years. I highly recommend Louise's to anyone looking for a good California Italian place in Santa Monica.
Perfect for Lunch – I eat here about once a week - I work just down the street. The Cobb Salad is perfect for lunch - huge portions and a very reasonable price tag. Of course, the service makes it just that much better.
Best Bread! – Very delicious bread! One of the waiters here, Peter, is always extra friendly and on the ball with drink refills. He is very attentive, but not overwhelming as some waiters can be. The pasta dishes here really stand out, the portions are very sizable (enough for leftovers or splitting) and are also very well priced for today's economy.
excellent service – As usual your restaurant on Montana gives us locals a first rate menu with excellent friendly service from Peter. Keep up the good standards.
