I called and left a message for Dr. Ramone this morning. She returned my call about ten minutes later to let me know she was retiring and not taking new patients. Her passion and empathy for patients were pouring through the phone as we spoke about current hardships with COVID-19 and the lack of decent pediatricians in the neighborhood. Dr. Ramone even offered to see my son for a one-off visit should if we couldn't find another provider right away. I wish we had learned of her practice years ago!
