I had to take my brother to the ER. The nurses and PA were great that day when we were on the one side. He had to wait for a bed in a rehab center and we had to be put in a different part of the ER. They were horrible. Waited almost 2 hrs for pain meds. Had to go to the bathroom and couldn't find anyone to help. Ask someone walking by and he said, "he's not my patient" I'll get you help. I went to the ER in severe, uncontrolled pain. I’m only 34 years old and right now I can’t even bend down to put my shoes on or lift a toilet seat because of how bad the pain is. They did a quick X-ray, told me everything was “fine,” and then just sent me home. They even admitted I probably need an MRI, but said they couldn’t do it there. How is it not urgent to figure out the cause when someone this young is in this much pain? I’ve been told by 3 different nurses my scheduled induction time was 2 am August 18, after they refused to do it Wednesday August 6 & 8th. Today their excuse to push it back was “other patients come before you” the nurse did not give me her name and instead berated me very passive aggressively telling me “in my 10 years of working here we’ve never done scheduled on time inductions, everyone will come before you and you have to wait for a bed.
