Bad experience, dentist couldn’t care less about my complaints. Moreover, he damaged my tooth by extremely forceful procedure

The first orthodontist I visited told me I needed extremely expensive braces to fix my slightly misaligned teeth. He estimated that it would cost $3k-$5k out of pocket. I went to Dr. Steinberg and he was able to fix my teeth using a retainer, saving me pain and thousands of dollars. My teeth look great. As a result, I've been going to Dr. Steinberg for more than a decade. He's my general dentist now. Could not be happier. The office manager Carolyn is wonderful as well.

Dr. Steinberg himself is a good guy and a good dentist. Very much against pharmaceuticals and pro-homepothic and organic foods in general. Only issue was this one hygentist that was working there a couple years back. She was just awful and tore my mouth apart, causing my gums to bleed very badly. They made this out to be my fault because I wasn't "brushing enough" but the truth was much more frightening as I had a serious (non dental) health problem that I had to be hospitalized for.
I went to Dr. Steinberg regarding pain in a root canal that I have had for over a decade he did absolutely nothing he didn't even examine the tooth. He did not give me any medication or treatment for pain and he did not want to know about my dental history of surgeries and other issues I have had. This was the weirdest experience I have ever had in my 40 plus years of seeing dentists. He told me not to focus on the pain and it would go away, he recommended oil pulling and clove oil for pain.
