I recently had a total knee revision done with Dr. Okafor, At the age of 66 I found myself having serious pain with my left knee which also was a revision, it was giving out when I walked for any period of time. Due to the prior knee being sealed with cement would mean precise meticulous removal of the old one, by the way total hour of operation was 6 hrs of being under anesthesia. Dr. Okafor is a Marvelous surgeon. He is current with evidence based practice. He stays current in important methods to prevent post op wound infections, blood clots, and how to have the best mobility post op. He is amazing and kind and patient. I had many questions and he took time to reassure my restless heart. He’s kind, great bedside manner, intelligent, and super skilled as a surgeon. Thanks Dr O!!! May God bless you.

My mother had two very challenging hip replacements (bones were fusing together) and Dr Okafor took amazing care of her. He's thorough, knowledgeable, and has wonderful bedside manner. After at least ten years of her living with significant amounts of pain while looking for the right surgeon, and now having gone through two major surgeries with Dr Okafor, she says she was just waiting to meet him and felt like he was the surgeon she needed. We're so grateful she ended up with him and we cannot recommend him enough to anyone ... read more
