Dr. Essando was personable, smiling, warned me to quit smoking without seeming judgmental. He had recommendations on techniques for stopping and provided me some very helpful printed information upon leaving.
Laughed at serious questions I asked, refused to give straight answers saying "Don't worry yourself about that" and acted as though I, a highly intelligent, accomplished man with advanced degrees, couldn't possibly understand any explanation he might deign to give to what I thought were very straight-forward, logical questions about the meaning of test results and the likely future of my coronary health.

I was impressed after my first visit. Dr. Essando really listened to my concerns and noted and discussed each one individually. Treated me as if I were his only patient, never rushing to finish although I was seen after minimal waiting time. I was called by the Dr with test results within a day after testing. Most accessible Dr who has ever treated me. I have highly recommended him to my friends & family members after having been referred to him by my daughter.
Finest Cardiologist in the Annapolis area. Very capable and thorough. I have total trust in his treatment procedures and dedication to making the best decisions for me, following a heart attack. Very dedicated and listens to you and your concerns. I feel fortunate to be under his care.
