Really rude service! We were told it would be a 20 min wait, an hour later it is our turn next and the hostess skips us for a group the exact same size. When we asked why the manager rudely said "I can't build more walls and tables just for you." And "Its not our fault that people are taking too long to eat." I can overlook mistakes but I refuse to put up with blatantly rude service, especially from the manager who should be setting a good example to the staff.
Lots of ambience & great food. I loved the lasagne. They would have received 5 stars but the hostess was rude.
We recently dined at Louie's and were surprised to be presented with a separate bar bill, to which had been added a gratuity. They then also added a gratuity on the separate dinner bill, which seemed a bit excessive. One generally feels that a gratuity should be at the discretion of the diner, based on service. I am not sure at this point if we would return to Louie's or not, due to this rather unusual practice.
