Kind of dead but I expected the jam session..other nights its usually pretty good..lol
I especially like William Mylar's Hippie Hour Fridays at 5:30 PM! The music is always top notch, with some of the best musicians in town and no two shows are ever the same. AND it's FREE! Also, the people are super friendly! :)
Absolutely the best place for music. Been coming to the 1st of the month Super Jam with Randy Careys Band for years now. Never miss it. In fact, my fiance proposed to me at Louie's. New owners have made Louie's a beautiful, clean bar. Always friendly staff and happy customers. Feels like family. Catch the great live music on Friday nights. I can't wait to try out a karaoke night.
I like Louies - it is a large bar - new owners are making constant improvements with more TVs/Sports. The first Sunday of every month the Randy Carey Band does a Superjam - We will be there tomorrow afternoon for their music jam session.
Fun place with great local music. My wife enjoyed a night out there with some local guys having a great blues and jazz session
If you want to meet a bar full of locals, this is the place to be!! Lots of history here, recently evolving with the change of ownership. It's like the Rancho Cordova "Cheers" bar :) as a newbie to Nor Cal I went to different bars to try something new, I always come back to Louie's. Prices are decent on drinks, the bartenders know you, humble people, and it's a little mix of everything everyday of the week from live bands to Karaoke! 2 pool tables, darts, basketball and a jute box, check it out!
Love this place! Very chill and laid back. The music is great and I love karaoke nights! The drinks are good and strong!
This bar is decent. Big area with dance floor and pool tables. My husbands band played there once and some girl tried to play with his drums. He asked her not to but she wanted to fight.
Best Karaoke in Town! – Louie's is THE BEST karaoke place in all Sac Town! Great bartenders, awesome DJ's, best selection of songs anywhere! The people are great and come from every walk of life. Louie's is the "home place" to lots of people, include me and mine! Great bands on the weekends, karaoke several times a week with terrific and talented DJ's, new text-messaging information for customers, lots of fun events all the time now! Not the Louie's from years ago. A FUN, like-NEW place you just can't miss!
