Yonkers Resident My husband and I and other friends have ate at this restaurant for a very long time, we have been friends with the owners for a long time. We started at the smaller place on Mile Square Road and Central Avenue and followed to Yonkers Avenue which a is much larger place and very comfortable to be in. Great food, Close to home! My husband and I just came back from dining at L & J. Every course was over the top delicious and served graciously as well as we were asked (on EACH course) if everything was OK. Also, the total bill was surprisingly resaonable compared to other places we go. We will ABSOLUTLEY be return customers, again and again! dishonest pricing ...sneaky surcharge Went there for dinner on 4/12/11. Food was good. Table service was not the best but, ok. They forgot to bring a thing or 2. also, they dont tell you this but they charge you a 10% surcharge on your bill. When we asked what this was the waitress said "Oh, they dont want to raise the prices so we charge you a surcharge!!" No where was it written on the menu or anywhere in the restaurant that there is a 10% surcharge on all meals. so the $20 fixed price meal is really $22 ????? I would not ... read more
THE BEST! I am a regular at Louie and Johnny's and find this restaurant to be one of the best Italian restaurants I've ever been to. Tried an Arthur Ave restaurant not too long ago and it couldn't even compare! The owners go out of their way to make your dining experience pleasurable. The food is outstanding!
Excellent My wife and I eat here regularly. We ate there last night and it was as good as ever. We spend a lot of time in Florida and make sure we get there at least once when we are in Yonkers. The food is excellent and prices are reasonable. I recommend it to everyone
Gorgeous I would def recommend louie and johnnys. Have eaten in it lots of times, and each time it was lovely. Yeah if you go a sat nite, you need to wait, as they don't take reservations and they are such a busy place. But the food is always spectacular
Faithful Customer Just wanted to say that i recommend this restaurant to everyone. Not only is the food wonderful, the staff, the atmosphere and the owners are absolutely the best. And for those annoyed customers that are upset that they actually had to wait for a table, waiting means the food is GREAT!!! horrible place terrible service, terrible food, charged us 4 steak we sent back because was overcooked when asked speak to manager he came over to us and had such attitude.. NEVER AGAIN.. horrible horrible place and management.
