Dr. Atria is fantastic. Unlike a primary veterinarian, Dr. A specializes in animal rehabilitation, physical therapy, recovery from injury, that sort of thing. Our German Shepherd was diagnosed with a degenerative back condition 4 years ago (he was about 8.5 years old). At the time, we were told that dogs with a similar progression of his condition have about 2 years until they can no longer walk, or worse.
