Events have issues. We held a bridal shower "tea" recently at Lotus. The experience was unpleasant and the proprietor unprofessional. After discussing/negotiating menu and cost with the proprietor on a Saturday, we put down a deposit. We asked for a written confirmation of the menu items and options and a breakdown of the cost, and were supposed to be sent information via email, since it was "dinner time". Best Restaurant in Media – Honestly, run - don't walk! This restaurant has something extremely special going on. I went for my third time the other week and was continually impressed. The food and service are always consistent. The server explained to us that farmers come to their back door and deliver their local produce of the day and they print new menus daily- I think this is great. Simply Horrible – Do not go here! The food was not great, well, what we were served anyway. It was 1 1/2 hours after we ordered and we were one of 2 tables who walked out without ever receiving our entrees. The owner was flat out rude and unapologetic, and made us feel like we were crazy for asking why our dinner was not ready when the other 2 tables that had ordered at the same time were finished dinner AND desert.
