Truly the best most lovingly prepared food! I can’t say enough. From the service to the flavors to the beauty of the space. Lotus is my go to for buffet lunch or sit down dinner. Must try Chicken Surinder!
Lotus is the most unique Indian Restaurant in USA. When I used to Live in Russian River and my kids were young (25 years back) we used to drive 70 miles for our Dream Lotus restaurant. All restaurant make good food But at Lotus you see love, affection and attachment in every Bite. (Vedic Love when you prepare food for someone) Surinder the Owner is Super Human. For him Lotus is not business but a true love to attaché and serve the people. One visit I bet will turn in to a regular visit.

We live in Orinda and dinner at Lotus is well worth the drive. We look forward to it all; the food, the servers, the ambiance and the wonderful host. We appreciate the gluten free options . Also, our son has dairy and egg allergies and they are able to provide for him.
