I see a lot of parents who sent their kids here writing reviews about how lotus was for them, but you guys don’t seem to really understand what it was like at lotus. Being in lotus had to have been the most dehumanizing thing I have ever experienced. Our daughter spent 10 weeks in inpatient at Lotus. From the first day, her care team was wonderful. The staff were supportive, compassionate and caring. One of her therapists was the best she has ever had. Our family was impressed with the dedication, skill set and kindness of staff at Lotus. We were referred to Lotus behavioral for our teen daughter who had a dual diagnosis. We had high hopes for the program. On the second day they called us to get her. She was kicked out of the program. I asked if she was the first teenager that was kicked out of the program, they said, unfortunately it happens more than we like. We were disheartened, but we understood.
