RecommendedEarl is the best! He made this exquisite Princess cake for my boyfriend’s birthday and it was outstanding! I highly recommend Lotta’s Bakery and have been going here for cakes, cookies, scones and pies for years. He can make anything you want. He made a chocolate/strawberry mousse cake for my birthday a few years ago and everyone was raving about it for days!
A wonderful gem on Polk Street.
So friendly and nice. Had a good selection if baked goods and antiques.
Earl, the owner/baker is kind, generous, helpful,PROFESSIONAL, and as clean as a whistle!!! My personal Fav's are: 1.) The Coconut Macaroon w/ chocolate dip, 2.) The Red Velvet cake, 3.) The Lemon Bars-- in that order. NOT 'cuz one is any better than the other; mind you! But, just because this is the order I enjoy eating them. He also does lovely wedding cakes, and GREAT bread. Nice to see a real baker in the neighborhood.
