It was an honor to do the permaculture internship at Lost Valley and immerse myself in the beautiful community! My time at Lost Valley completely changed my life for the better. I did the summer permaculture internship. I felt like I was paying to work for them. Gardening was ok but we did no natural building due to community interference and general disorganization. When we complained, we were repeatedly invalidated. The shop was messy to the point that we couldn't get projects done. The food was bad (except when we had guests) and not appropriate for people doing manual labor in the heat. My visit there was great! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. There is always something happening and events to look forward to. Oh, and lunch was delish! So happy that places like this exist; just what the world needs.
