My wife and I just celebrated our 38th Wedding Anniversary by camping at Big Ridge Campground, just outside the Park, with our horses and rode many of the Park horse trails, which were well maintained. The Park is a really beautiful place to relax.
I think Lost River State Park is beautiful. My husband was from Mathias and my Dad was the Supt. there years ago. Love the fact that put up a web site for Lost River. Wish it was not so far for me to drive there and that had not closed the restaurant.
