The care I received was fine but they have sketchy billing practices. They make you pay at time of service for part they assume you owe. The insurance company also paid and I have yet to hear back about my refund. I did all the research for them with tracking numbers for payments the insurance paid and amount they said I was responsible for. I am still waiting for a response and a refund. I recommend not paying until after the insurance goes through.
Local staff are great, friendly, and nice to work with. However, they use some pretty sketchy billing practices and I won’t be going back! They include products/services without mentioning them, costing you extra, I also received a bill in the mail with a different total and different amount than I paid in the store. It’s all been confusing, frustrating, and suspicious!
The Lake Zurich staff is absolutely amazing! They are always very attentive, helpful, and friendly. Shout out to Catie and Tamara! You’re both so sweet! Thank you for taking such good care of me and my eyes!!!
Everyone was so helpful in helping me find my new spectacles. So many choices, but we narrowed down to a few and then to one. Customers even have the choice to change the arms to the lenses they like if needed. Dr. Balda is very friendly and made the exam and experience comfortable and easy. I would also like to thank Michael, Tamara, Jaz, and Meredith for a great job helping me out with my new glasses. Very efficient staff and Dr- They were right on time for my appointment- everything done was done in a very timely manner- also the staff all did their jobs well and comfortably. Dr Balda is very thorough and knowledgeable- and has fantastic bedside manner… Thank you! I’ve been a patient at this office for many years and will continue to see them for my future appointments!!
