I haven't been here in years & after this experience, never will again. As my bf & I pull into what used to be a popular great restaurant, we notice the parking lot empty. As we walk in, half the lights are off & there is no one around to greet us. I start saying hello and walking around trying to find someone. We decided to try Los Toribio for lunch today. We have an abundance of Mexican restaurants in Henderson, but hadn't been here. Our first impression was that they've tried to make a festive space, but the table - with ceramic tile embedded in a plywood top - looked like it hadn't been cleaned since 2022. The vinyl on the bench seat was splitting, and the chairs were uncomfortable with straight backs and a wooden seat. The lunch menu is confusing - with some items having no description.
