Always had good service. I am not an actual client of this vet clinic,but I do buy special diet food there.When I first went there,they didn't have the food I was looking for but the man who spoke with me & apparently also ordered the food was very helpful & knowledgeable about the various types of diets & what they were for.He took the time to call other clinics to find this diet food & finally located some at a clinic in Morro Bay.All the other staff I've dealt with have been friendly & helpful also.
RUDE and Unhelpful If I could give 0 stars, I would. My husband and I took our dog there because he ate something we thought might have been a little dangerous. We were told that no one could help us and that we could leave our dog there and if someone could get to him, they would. THEN he actually gave me the phone number of the OTHER local vet and told us very rudely that "Maybe someone else can help you". I would NEVER EVER leave my pet in their care. EVER.
Above and beyond A wonderful place to bring your pets, it was also a great place to work. I worked part time at Los Osos Pet Hospital for a bit, and the care the staff have for the pets and their people is above and beyond. I would work there again if I still lived in the area.
Good doctor... My experience with the doctor at this hospital has been great,but the management is very disorganized & not at all well run.All of the other staff is helpful & pleasant.
Great caring people! My dog & I love to come here,which is more than I can say for any of the other vet hospitals in the area.When I had to put my old dog down,the young man & the woman at the front desk were so compassionate.I think even the young man was a little choked up for me since I was a basket case.After a negative experience at the other clinic in town,this was wonderful.Five stars.
" I DON'T HAVE TIME " while vacationing in los osos we realized we had left our pet's meds. at home . "no problem " i told my wife , there's a pet hospital right down the street . los osos pet hospital was busy , they asked me to come back in an hour . i did ; thats when the guy at front desk said " i don't have time " . not even for a phone call to our vet to find out what meds. our dog needed . shame on them . i can't help but believe these people are predators , preying on the emotions and wallets of those who need profes... read more
Los Osos Pet Hospital This is a wonderful place to take your family pet. They go out of their way to provide excellent care for your pet. They give great advice when needed and answer any questions you may have. The staff is very knowledgeable and the place itself is well taken care of and very clean. If you are ever in need of a vet this is the place to take them to as they will provide excellent care for your pet and give you the information and advice needed to take care of your pet as well.
Judy Goodbar is a A+++groomer at Los Osos Pet Hospital My dog has been going to Los Osos Pet Hospital for bathing now for about 2 yrs. Judy Goodbar is the groomer that takes care of our English Springer Spaniel that is very very spoiled. I can imagine what she tolerates from this dog. She always has a pleasant welcome for our dog. Does a A+++++++ job and we feel very comfortable leaving her there for her bathing. A good dog groomer is hard to find and we have found a winner. Nothing but caring. I've brought my dogs to LO PH for some time now and,I can say that they have always been nothing but caring & compassionate.I have had a chance to observe several times when they have went out of their way to accommodate & help people.Some of these other postings sound vindictive & punitive.I would most definitely recommend this vet.
