Owners Carrie and Gene Orcutt have been here at Los Lagos since 1986. Carrie started here as a boarder and fell in love with all the amenities offered, including the beautiful Folsom lake riding trail system, the covered arena and large outdoor arenas. She started a riding school, HuntFields, in 1988 working under professional trainer Richard Sands from Australia. Great spot for trail rides!
Just moved my horse here with my coach, Jennette Scanlon. He is generally pretty tightly wound- he is Very relaxed here and settled in quickly. Love the arenas- especially full size dressage court. We cool out on the trails after schooling almost every day. Owners very accommodating, great trainers - Jennette Scanlon - dressage and eventing, Jeri Lou for Hunter Jumper, as well as a beginner program - great working facility and people!
my daughter rides at los lagos and leases peewee. All she ever talks about or wants to do is be at the ranch! Heather is amazing, and all the kids are great my daughter has made lots of good friendsat los lagos! I recomend this place to everyone!!
The trainer is amazing. All the workers are very helpful. So happy we are here.
