While visiting Grinnel Iowa on August 22, 2026 @ 7:00 pm. ,my Wife, Daughter and I stopped in at Los Girasoles Mexican Restaurant. We where seated immediately and greeted by our server Juan. We were served fresh chips and 2 types of salsa and some bean dip. Our drinks arrived quickly and accurately. We all ordered. Bought food there this past friday and their food is very good, no issues whatsoever but get this, there was a cockaroach in the bag and/or within the trays of food i bought, i had my tray near my leg and it came out crawling near it. Lost my appetite and threw the food away. Threw it up too. Called the place and a worker there was in shock, then manager called me a few minutes later and she gave me a refund which is very much appreciated.
