Menu stated ground beef or chicken taco plate. I ordered the ground beef taco and requested politely that it be well done on the meat and mind you my plate was close to $20. My taco came wet like sloppy Joe's and the meat was chalk full.of onions. After we finished ( I didn't touch the taco) I kindly Asked for a discount ( the cost of the taco only) , the manager passive aggressively blamed the server (who was amazing) and argued that it states this ( wet onion filled meat) was in the menu which it was not. We were a big party of 12 and Izzy was our server. She did an amazing job of keeping up with our requests while also training a new girl. The food was not that good but the service and atmosphere were great 👍
2026. It’s broken. New manger asked for a chance. So we’re going back again next month. Loved this place for 30 years. Please fix it.
Waitress was Izzy. She’s not only the bartender, but she’s a waitress too. She got triple sat and still provided excellent service in a prompt and timely manner. Great time management and customer service and accuracy. Foods always yummy at Los Cuates. My husband and I bought a house in Rio Rancho and moved from Burque to RR so our usual go to on lomas is a not as convenient any longer, even though we will miss our regular server there.
