The atmosphere was beautiful, with great summer vibes and enjoyable music. Although the music was a bit loud, it was still possible to have a conversation. The margaritas were delicious and beautifully presented. Unfortunately, our experience was overshadowed by the poor service we received from our server, Gabriela. We had a wonderful experience at Los Comales Bolingbrook! The food was absolutely delicious authentic, flavorful, and some of the best Mexican food we’ve had in the area. Our server, Carolina, was outstanding! She was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Excellent service paired with amazing food made for a perfect dining experience. We will definitely be back and highly recommend asking for Carolina!
The restaurant is decorated really nice. Now lets start with our experience, my husband ordered the carne asada taco dinner and I ordered 2 carne asada tacos. The rice tasted like it was from a box. The beans were also questionable. The tacos were cold and dry and I'm 100% they were not carne asada. I complained and the second plate was hot but the flavor profile was still the same weird flavor like it was sitting around to get reheated. Absolutely horrible service. Don’t go here if you want a comfortable safe and inviting place to enjoy a meal. Went in an hour before close with a friend and her mom (no sign saying it wasn’t allowed to do so), proceeded to wait 15 MINUTES for a menu given to us not even by our waitress but the bartender(very nice bartender and helped us more than the waitress did).
