Los Chamacos Mexican Restaurant is honestly one of the best spots I’ve found for authentic Mexican food in the DMV area! The food is flavorful, the portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable. This is the most authentic Mexican food we’ve had in northern Virginia. The service was exceptional and the food was excellent. Corn in a cup - they nailed it! Best I’ve had since Laredo, Texas. This is a family owned and run business - they’re originally from Mexico and their food, service, and most importantly, their hospitality are the best we’ve had. Go! You won’t be disappointed. Valeria, our server, is the owner’s niece and was lovely.
A friend had been craving halal Mexican - so I ordered takeout when I was going to visit. I got the halal steak burrito, halal ground beef burrito, and grilled chicken fajitas. The takeout order was ready on time. The portions were generous and delicious! The steak burrito was the crowd favorite, but I would order all 3 again. Thank you Los Chamacos! We will be back.
