I had a great experience with Los Cerros Apartments in Silver City. The property is in a quiet and convenient location, and the apartments are spacious and comfortable. One of the biggest advantages for me was that pets are allowed, which made Los Cerros a great option for me and my dogs. Ashley, the manager, is wonderful, very attentive, responsive, and genuinely helpful. She cares about her tenants and goes out of her way to help when needed. Never addressed any maintenance issues like the thermostat that wouldn’t control the hvac. Then they ripped me off on my rental deposit. I left a clean apartment with proper notice and they kept more than half my deposit even charging me cleaning materials. I even cleaned the oven. The management is the worst. The manager is unfriendly and unhelpful.
I’ve recently become acquainted with the Los Cerros apartments located off N Swan St in the foothills, 4210 N Kiva St, Silver City, NM. The setting is spectacular in that it gives a feeling of a woodsy “getaway”. The setting is quiet and inviting and views of the mountain backdrops are spectacular. Pets are permitted! This is a great place to live! New management is amazing! Jennifer is really caring and responsive to the needs of the tenants. It’s rare to find a place to rent where they care about your safety and comfort but these people really care. The apartments are updated and clean. I highly recommend living here.
Under New Management - as of February 1, 2023. Los Cerros Apartments is now under new management. Jennifer, (property manager) and Bruce, (onsite property superintendent) are absolutely great! The apartments are freshly renovated and clean! Guaranteed! Los Cerros is a peaceful community in a mountain setting. Please disregard any reviews about management prior to 2023.
